Ad hoc, business-to-business connectivity

Magor’s flexible peer-to-peer architecture allows geographically-dispersed teams to communicate and collaborate in HD video in a spontaneous, ad-hoc manner, with no need to pre-schedule meetings or pre-plan who the participants will be.

To achieve true ad-hoc connectivity in business-to-business settings, Magor TeleCollaboration systems must have the ability to effortlessly and securely navigate across private networks and to do so in a way that is transparent to end users.

The Solution

HDPassport is a purpose-built software session border controller (SBC) that extends the ad-hoc communications capabilities of Magor TeleCollaboration to video-based calls conducted between businesses on different private networks, all while maintaining the access security that businesses require.

HDPassport makes establishing Magor TeleCollaboration sessions between businesses as easy as making a phone call by allowing:

  • Remote access to shared collaboration materials hosted on Magor TeleCollaboration systems within an enterprise
  • Communication between Magor TeleCollaboration systems located in different businesses
  • Magor TeleCollaboration systems to connect to third-party (SIP-capable) video endpoints in the public network
