Telecollaboration a hit at GTEC 2010Attendees at GTEC 2010 (Canada's
government technology event) were looking to learn how
information technology can best serve the public as well
as the people in their own organizations. At the show,
they were treated to a demonstration of how Magor TeleCollaboration
helps government organizations bring teams together, enhance
collaboration, improve productivity and reach organizational
goals. Magor on the roadIn addition to GTEC 2010, Magor Communications is pleased to be participating in a number of leading industry events and conferences this quarter. "To help create a truer picture of the value derived from the use of collaboration, companies should consider a range of factors, such as the availability of the solution to a worker needing it 'at any given time'or how well a particular solution meets the collaboration needs of a team," advised Brian Cotton, Vice President of Frost & Sullivan's Information & Communication Technologies consulting practice. Telecollaboration scored the highest when compared to other standard collaboration solutions such as telepresence, video conferencing, audio conferencing and web conferencing. According to the study, telecollaboration stood out for its ease and speed of access as well as its richness in the core capabilities it delivers.
